Water pollution is a major problem on earth. Water pollution is dangerous and causes 485,000 people to die each year. And each year 1 billion people are sick because of water pollution. People are now helping prevent water pollution and here are some ways you can help prevent water pollution.
Try to use as little plastic as possible because most of the plastic we use ends up in bodies of water. And do not dispose any type of chemicals, oil, medicines in drains, sinks, and ect.
Limit the use of detergents because detergents can cause problems for the aquatic life and detergents can also cause algae blooms in fresh water. These are a few ways to prevent water pollution.
